Happy New School Year from Rosendale Theatre Club!

2015/16 was a great year for Theatre Club. Families and children from our school took almost 1000 seats at London Theatres.

The highlight of our year was the riotous Greenwich panto on 28/11 where Rosendale took almost 400 seats (pretty much the whole theatre) - our biggest trip to date! But it didn’t stop there. Other trips included:

  •   - to our favourite The Unicorn to see lots of shows (Baddies The Musical (96), The Snow Child (54), the Minotaur (130), Grass 53), Septimus Bean (29))
  •      to the NT to see the brilliant Comedy of Errors (54)
  •      to the Globe for first time to see Twelfth Night (71)
  •     to Annie at The New Wimbledon Theatre (20), and
  •     thanks to a parent who works for Disney to see the amazing West End show "The Lion King" (100)

Thank you so much to all the theatres involved for their support.

And 2016/17 is set to be even better. We have no less than 9 trips this term alone!!!!!

Adolphus Tips at The Globe in early September was fantastic. This weekend lots of us are off to:

- Jason and the Argonauts (KS2) at the Unicorn and The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark (KS1) at The Unicorn.

And we have lots of festive treats lined up in November and December:
- Peter Pan at the NT
- The Old Man With Very Big Wings at the Little Angel
- The Little Matchgirl and Other Happier Tales at the Globe

Letters are out now for:
- Baddies The Musical and Boing! at The Unicorn
- Plus of course the brilliant Greenwich panto - Sat 26/11

Please don’t miss out and get your payments in early to avoid disappointment!

We'd really like new parents to the school to join The Theatre Club. Although we do offer trips out to the whole school at least once a term via letter, to ensure people don't miss out on other special offers and trips please join our mailing list. Simply email rosendaletheatreclub@gmail.com requesting to be added.
